About

Hi there.

I’m Nadine. I’m 21 and I love cooking and baking. I’m from Graz, Austria. Not Australia, Austria.

A-U-S-T-R-I-A.

First of all, I guess I should thank you for visiting my blog. Enchantée. This food blog is the result of my long-lasting passion for cooking, baking and eating, of course. The recipes you’ll find on this blog are vegan, not because I am vegan, but because in my opinion we need to cut down on using animal products a little and because I want to show you that it’s actually not that hard to do, really.

The blog came into being because of the fact that I get really easily obsessed with ideas I ‘kind of like’ but believe to be unrealistic in the first moment.

Growing up in a multicultural family and being blessed to live among good cooks, the recipes on this blog are in most cases Italian, Persian and Austrian, as these are the cultures I grew up with. But I like to experiment, so you will find some other good stuff, too.

‘nade in the kitchen’?, you ask yourself now. No, it’s not a typo. Nade is my nickname, initially given to me by my friend, and gradually taken over by my wider circle of friends – not to my friend’s delight, as she had made clear that ‘nade’ is her nickname for me. Oh, well.

I’m always happy about constructive criticism, new ideas or anything you feel the urge to share with me.
